What's my HEART

In 2023 I got saved and decided to do a discipleship training school (DTS) with YWAM Kona. During my time DTS God broke my heart for the people that don't know Him. He gave me a heart to train and disciple young believers to be bold in their faith and step into their missional calling God's put on their life. God saved my life, set me free and given me more joy than I could've ever imagined, in response I am eager to share this LOVE with everyone around me. My long term goal is to move to the 10/40 window, specifically the Middle East or Central Asia!

Latest Update March 2026

I had the absolute privilege and honour of co-leading a team to the Marshall Islands from December to the beginning of March. We had 5 students on our team from all over the world, America, Germany, the UK, and Norway.Over the past 6 months of staffing this Discipleship Training School (DTS), I’ve learned the importance of one-on-one and small group discipleship. Just as Jesus walked closely with His disciples, that’s the example we follow as we staff the school. We go to the nations to share the gospel, to love, serve, and pray for people, but ultimately, my heart was that my team would fall deeply in love with Jesus. My prayer was that even when they are 80 years old, they would still be in love with Him and growing closer to Him.Getting to walk closely with my students has been such a rewarding season. They have overcome trials, fought for their freedom in Christ, and stepped out boldly in ministry. Often, I would leave space for them to lead however they felt called, some would organize Bible studies, others met one-on-one with individuals, some led public worship, and others simply spent time playing with kids.During this time, we built strong friendships with young women and teenagers. On our second-to-last day on the island, we asked a young single mom of two if she wanted to be baptized. She said yes, but she was allergic to salt water (pretty ironic, being surrounded by it!). After about 30 minutes of trying to figure out how to baptize her in fresh water, she decided she would step out in faith and be baptized in the ocean. She hadn’t been in the water in 6 years.The next morning, we went to the ocean and baptized her. When she came up out of the water, she was rejoicing, then she started swimming, diving for shells, and floating. After a while, we asked if she was having a reaction, and she said no. She had been completely healed from her allergy.At the same time, two of my students went to a high school prayer meeting we often attended and invited students to come get baptized. Their church hadn’t done baptisms in 10 years. That day, 37 high school students were baptized, declaring their freedom in Christ. We even learned sign language so we could baptize three deaf students.Since we left the island, their church has continued doing baptisms and has baptized 36 more people! God was moving in such a powerful way, and my team and I had the privilege of partnering with just a small part of what He was doing.We got to be apart of some other ministries like teaching English and math in schools, preaching in churches and youth groups, teaching at kids ministries throughout the week and helping with the islands education week!After leaving the Marshall Islands, we flew to Atlanta, Georgia to debrief with all the students and celebrate their graduation after completing the 6-month DTS. We processed everything that happened on outreach and shared testimonies of what God did as our school (Fire & Fragrance) sent out 39 teams across the globe. We ended our time by worshipping and giving God all the glory for everything He did.I’m so grateful for the way God used me as a leader during this season. I’m truly humbled and in awe of His grace. This time of staffing has prepared me for my next steps in ministry, which I’ll be sharing more about in my next newsletter. For now, I’m home, resting after such a full and stretching season.

What is Fire and Fragrance

Fire & Fragrance is a global missions movement rooted in deep devotion to Jesus. We exist to serve the global church in the Great Commission mandate through worship and prayer, the awakening of youth movements, and the sending of pioneers to the least reached peoples of the world.Wherever we go, we contend for spiritual awakening that flows from lives wholly surrendered to Christ and results in long-term obedience to His mission.

What is the 10/40 Window?

The 10/40 Window is a term used in missions to describe a region of the world located between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude, stretching across North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. It is called a “window” because it highlights an area where many of the world’s least-reached people groups live.
